3D Printing Terms

We print custom parts to order. We will not print, and will refuse and refund, any order for:

• Firearms, firearm components, receivers, magazines, suppressors, or accessories designed to be fitted to a firearm.
• Weapons, or objects whose primary purpose is to injure a person.
• Medical, dental, surgical, orthotic, or prosthetic devices, or anything intended for contact with the inside of a human body.
• Safety-critical or load-bearing parts — including climbing, diving, automotive braking or steering, aviation, marine, electrical mains, and lifting or rigging equipment. Desktop FDM parts are not certified for these uses and we will not supply them for one.
• Counterfeit goods, or parts that infringe another party's trademark, copyright, design right, or patent.
• Keys, lock-bypass tools, ATM or card-reader overlays, or devices whose purpose is to defeat a security measure.
• Sexually explicit material involving minors, or anything unlawful under the laws of Texas or the United States.

We may decline any order for any other reason, at our discretion. If we decline after you have paid, you get a full refund.

By uploading a file you confirm that you own it, or that you are licensed to have it printed, and that printing it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You agree to indemnify Gemma Guest Studio LLC against any claim arising from us printing a model you supplied.

We do not check the provenance of uploaded models and we cannot advise on whether a particular model is licensed for commercial use. That judgement is yours.

Parts are produced by fused deposition modelling (FDM). That process has inherent characteristics which are not defects:

• Visible layer lines. Every part is built from stacked layers. A finer layer height reduces their visibility; nothing eliminates it.
• Anisotropic strength. Printed parts are markedly weaker across layers than along them. A part may break under a load an injection-moulded equivalent would survive.
• Dimensional tolerance. Expect roughly ±0.5mm or ±0.5% of the nominal dimension, whichever is greater. Tight-fitting assemblies and threads may need adjustment. If a dimension is critical, tell us before you order.
• Colour variation. Filament colours vary between batches and never match a screen exactly. Our on-site preview is an approximation.
• Support marks. Overhanging areas need support material, which leaves witness marks where it was removed.

We print the geometry you supply. We do not warrant that a part is fit for any particular purpose, and we do not modify, repair, or re-engineer your model unless we have agreed that with you in writing.

Most models are priced automatically from the geometry of your file. That price is binding on us and holds for 7 days.

Larger, more complex, or unusually shaped models are quoted by hand instead — you will be told this is happening rather than shown an automatic figure. We aim to send a quote within one business day.

Standard turnaround is approximately 7 business days from payment; rush is approximately 3. These are estimates, not guarantees — machine time is shared across orders, and a failed print means starting again.

Your tracking link shows your current position in the queue and updates as the job moves through production.

You can cancel for a full refund at any point before your job enters printing. Once the machine starts, the filament and the machine time are committed and the order can no longer be cancelled.

If a part arrives damaged, or does not match the model you supplied, tell us within 14 days and we will reprint or refund it at our discretion. Because every part is made to your specification, we do not accept returns for change of mind.

If a print fails on our side, that is our cost, not yours — we simply run it again.

Your model is stored so we can produce your order. We delete it 90 days after your job is delivered, and 30 days after an uploaded quote that never became an order. You can ask us to delete a file sooner at any time.

We do not sell, share, publish, or reprint your models for anyone else, and we do not use them to train anything.

Your files are held in private cloud storage. They are not published, not browsable, and cannot be reached by anyone who does not hold our credentials — there is no public link to your model, and we cannot create one.

Payment is taken in full at checkout through Stripe. Prices are shown before tax; sales tax is calculated at checkout. We do not store your card details.

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of a printed part. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
